About Us

We are Troy SPEAR - a High School NJROTC underwater robotics team comprised of 20 students, freshman through seniors, who currently attend Troy High School. Our team was created in 2019 with the goal of increasing our knowledge and strengthening our skills in the field of engineering and computer science. In the 2022 to 2023 season, we expanded our team, building our first autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) and participating in our first in-person RoboSub competition, which led to many invaluable memories and experiences. So much so, we are hoping to compete in the years to come and to foster the same passion in future generations.
